About Prudence:
Prudence is a photographer based in Naarm (Melbourne). With her interest in social and environmental justice, Prudence aims to use art as a tool to fight complacency, producing works which encourage the viewer to help challenge the status quo.
Prudence shoots and experiments with 35mm and 120mm film, aiming to capture both human-made structures and dreamy landscapes, exploring the beauty of Mother Earth while also delving in to the harsh realities of our impact on the natural environment. Through her work, she attempts to address her part in the neo-liberal and neo-colonial systems that continue to have a detrimental impact on global communities and on the environment.
