We help Part Time Artists sell their art so they’ve got more time to make it. So maybe one day, they can finally quit that day job.

Let’s be real. We can’t all quit our day jobs and make art for a living. But that doesn’t mean we can’t be passionate about it. And it certainly doesn’t mean we should give it up.

That’s what we’re here for. To be a full time friend to other part time artists. To support creatives who are not creatively employed. Helping them see value in their creativity – and helping others see it too.

A simple and effective tool to help our friends share and sell their art and for our other friends to find and buy it.

It’s like the straight up, genuine and friendly alternative to snobby art galleries and online poster-print sweatshops. Connecting amazing, part time artists with people who want to buy amazing, original art. Online and super personal. Nice and easy.

So, from one part time artist to another. Let’s be friends. Let’s get more original art out into the world.

Meet the team

Small but mighty – the PTAFTF team are art admirers and makers, lovers not haters, and we’re here to help you with whatever requests you might have.

We are the following Part Time Full Time Peoples:

Alyce Lola Stampa
Harrison Buikstra
Steve Grant

Alyce Lola Stampa
Part Time Artist
Full Time General Manager

I started PTAFTF, and everyday I try to make it the best it can be.

I live in the ditch between Aotearoa, New Zealand and Naam, Australia. It’s cosy. I recommend the fish.

My goal is to motivate myself, many of my loved ones, and complete strangers to make more art. To use our creative muscles, so they stop wasting away and we can become the big, buff creative bods we used to believe we were or could be.

I also want all people of all budgets to own original art. I strongly believe it can be affordable and accessible.
There are more options than expensive and scary galleries or cheap mass-produced prints. We are one of those options, and I think a pretty good one!

This began as a solo venture, but like everything else I quickly realised I couldn’t do it alone. So I roped in some extremely talented and helpful friends. But I’ll let them introduce themselves below.

Harrison Buikstra
Part Time Social Media Manager
Full Time Same Thing For Someone Else

I grew up in regional NSW, but I now call Naarm/Melbourne home. During the day, I work as Digital Marketing Co-ordinator in the co-working industry.

I’ve always had a passion for art and film and all things beautiful, but I’m very much a baby artist myself. In fact, I only really started drawing and experimenting with art as a lockdown hobby early on in 2020!

My goal is to create a strong community around a great big ol’ mutual love for art — to create a space not just for artists but for art lovers like me!

Steve Grant
Part Time Brand Guardian
Full Time Freelance Designer

Alyce and I go way back, so far back in-fact to the good ol’ days (mid-2000s) when we were working together in one of Auckland’s top dive bars – a classic life-long friendship was formed.

I’m based in New Zealand so we can claim ourselves as an international company.

My favourite (one of many) things about PTAFTF is our mission.

Bringing people together to connect over genuine original art, providing a platform for artists to gain confidence knowing they can sell their art, and hopefully be inspired to make more.

I bring my experience specialising in strategic-led brand and visual identity work to PTAFTF.

My role, apart from some mild part time comedic relief with the two awesome humans above me, is to look after, guard, preserve, create anything and everything the PTAFTF brand wants to do. You name it, I’m there.

If you’re looking to deep dive, mosey on over to my website, it’s well out of date and in need of some TLC, but that’s 2022’s problem.
