Emily Mecchia

About Emily:

My name is Emily Mecchia, I am a part-time freelance illustrator and full-time graphic designer.
Having spent about 8 years overseas, exploring parts of Asia and Europe and living in both Melbourne and London, I now call Wellington home. 

My passion has always been drawing and I love making art with the intention of evoking those feel-good feelings, as well as political pieces that speak to the climate catastrophe and grave impacts our habitats face.

I create digital art using procreate and my style plays into slightly skewed perspectives, bold colourful palettes and a sketchy characteristic giving my artwork a unique aesthetic.
